NCCCO Recertification & CIC Recertification 

Description of Course

A prep class for NCCCO / CIC Recertification. The class is classroom only.  The examination now have less questions and is considered more challenging on the recertification candidate.  Rules indicate if recertification examination is not successful on the second try, the entire certification process must be redone.  This exam prep course is critical for operators and employers needing to be in compliant.

Training provides understanding of current and updated current rules, standards, safety awareness information and instruction on correct use of cranes load charts and range diagrams for proper load lift calculations.  Rules required that operators re-certify every 5 years.

TYPES OF CRANE RE-CERTIFICATION 
NCCCO – National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators – Nationally Accredited

  • Mobile Telescopic Boom Cranes – Small, fixed cab (boom truck) or Large, rotating cab (RT, AT, Truck) type cranes
  • Mobile Lattice Boom Cranes – Truck or Crawler type cranes
  • Tower Cranes – Tower and Self Erecting type tower cranes

CIC – Crane Institute Certification – Nationally Accredited

  • Small telescopic mobile cranes with less than 21 ton capacities
  • Large telescopic mobile cranes with less than 75 ton capacities
  • Larger telescopic mobile cranes with more than 75 ton capacities
  • Lattice boom mobile cranes – non friction type
  • Lattice boom mobile crawler cranes – non friction type
