Signalperson qualification training

Service Description

Live crane signal person qualification training and certification program is designed to ensure that participants meet all Federal OSHA safety requirements. The program will provide comprehensive training on the types of signals used in crane operations and how to apply them competently. Participants will gain a basic understanding of crane operation and limitations, including crane dynamics involved in swinging and stopping loads and boom deflection. To become certified, candidates will be required to pass both a verbal or written test and a practical test. During the training, participants will be trained and evaluated in crane communication, perform blind lift scenarios, maintain control of the load during operation, and keep a clear load travel path. Additionally, students will be made aware of the dangers and hazards associated with crane operations. Cost: $695 per person Hours: 6-8 hours Group rates may be available
